Comments about Gemeinhardt Model 2S Conservatory Flute:
This is my first flute which I've been playing for almost a year. I had 6 years of training on the clarinet and found this flute to be a very nice transition instrument. The offset G is very comfortable to reach and the plateau (closed) keys make it relatively easy to play. The flute has a rich tone and a beautiful appearance thanks to it's solid silver construction. All in all, the 2S is a very nice flute at a very affordable price.
