WA-120 Lavalier -

from Carlsbad, CA

Comments about Nady WA 120 Portable PA System with Wireless Omni-Lavalier Mic:

I do Santa shows during Christmas and I was looking for a compact wireless system I could stuff in my bag that would help me out in larger rooms or outdoors. I'd been to InfoComm and other conventions and figured somebody out there had to make one. After checking out the reviews online, I decided to take a chance on this little NADY lavalier system. All things considered, I think it's a pretty good deal. It has a basic treble and bass tone control so you can adjust the tone for your voice and get a faithful reproduction that sounds clear and full and it also has an echo control which is really just reverb, but it works well and a little bit goes a long way. Besides a separate volume control for the lavalier, you also get 2 other 1/4" inputs with separate volumes controls that can used for an instrument, iPod or a second wired mic. That's really convenient if you use background music like I do to add ambience to shows. It can run off 8 D batteries, plug in a wall or you can buy the NADY internal RB-120 rechargeables which weigh only as much as 3 D Cells. I like that! Packing light is what it's all about. The sucker can get LOUD if you need it and it's way clearer than a bull horn or a Pig Nose or any of those Ickle Pickle belt gizmos. I couldn't be happier. I bet soccer coaches would love this thing. I plan to use it when I do photo shoots of large groups or direct staging operations. I can even toss it on the back seat of my convertible when I do Christmas parades and stuff and talk to the crowds on the sidewalk.. It sure beats the heck out of screaming your fool head off ! I'm thinking about getting a second one for a quick and easy wireless stereo ! Wouldn't THAT be a trip!
