A compact and complete floor monitor.

The Yamaha SM12V Club Series V Monitor provides professional sound quality. Gigging bands, mobile DJs, and houses of worship helped make the first four generations of Yamaha Club Series Speakers incredibly popular. The refinements of generation V continue this success story with larger enclosures for improved low-frequency performance, improved drivers for higher power handling, redesigned crossovers, stronger grilles, and dual Speakon and 1/4" connectors. With professional features, excellent sonic performance, and great value, Club Series loudspeakers deliver premium quality live sound night after night.

The SM12V 2-way floor monitor has a 12" driver, a 2" tweeter with a titanium diaphragm and 60Hz-16kHz frequency response (-10dB). 350W/700W program/peak power handling. 97dB sensitivity. 25"W x 16"H x 14"D. 43 lbs.

Comments about Yamaha SM12V Club Series V Monitor:

I use mine for rehearsal PA speakers/monitors. Everything sounds just fine through them. The one I got blew the tweeter almost as soon as we plugged it in. Took it back to the store and exchanged it for another one with no problems. Great for monitoring vocals and guitars - midrangy type stuff. Probably not so great for low end type sources (that's what the SM15V is for) but you can still hear whatever you need for cues and such. I'm totally happy with mine and have no desire to upgrade or otherwise change monitors. Unless you're some kind of audiophile frequency snob I would see no reason why you wouldn't like these monitors.
