Comments about Peavey PR 10 Speaker Pair with Stands and Cables:
These are super little speakers for a small venue where clarity at higher volumes is not required.
Keep in mind these are 10" speakers so don't expect roaring bass.
I have the PR15 and was so pleased with the weight , tthat I thought the 10's for stage monitors would be a real back saver . For this they are great, since it's a lot of vocals and bass is not critical. It was a perfect call, easy to carry at 20 lbs, easily handle 250 watts without a problem. Can't beat the price , the stands and cables are just an added little bonus. No other speaker I looked at could handle the power and be so easily portable. I use these with a 6 pc. Rocking country band and they work great. The downside is they just don't have the angle needed for floor monitors, but a wood wedge resolves that issue. Don't trust peaveys input jack, tie your cord to the handle,as these easily pull out.
I would hesitate to use these as mains other than for a small room or voice only application.
