Great mic, rivals ones costing much more

Comments about MXL 909 Condenser Microphone:

This is an excellent studio microphone, rivaling units costing much much more. Comes with a hard shell plastic carrying case and shock mount. Don't forget to order the cable, it doesn't come with one. Learned about it from Harlan Hogan, one of the most well known voice over artists in the industry. For the money, can't be beat. Great frequency response, does require phantom power and a mesh pop filter to protect the internal parts from mouth saliva. If you're doing something in a studio, this is it.
