Wireless in-ear monitoring system for the whole band.
This package includes the AS-1500T transmitter, 4 AS-1500R receivers, and 4 sets of Galaxy Audio standard earbuds, everything a band needs to get into the world of wireless in-ear monitoring. Wireless personal monitors are effective at eliminating stage noise, protecting users' ears from damage, and allowing the user to move around the stage or audience. In-ear monitoring additionally helps to eliminate feedback.
The AS-1500T (transmitter) has two XLR/1/4" combo input jacks, a stereo/mono switch, headphone output, volume control, & LCD display. The transmitter comes with a single rack mount kit for mounting 1 unit in one rack space.
The AS-1500R features a 100mw headphone amplifier with a standard 3.5mm (1/8") headphone output. The AS-1500R is loud for any environment, hard rock included. The receiver has a built in EQ boost, an option to turn the limiter On/Off, LCD display, button lock, and L/R balance control. The L/R balance control can be set to pan mode, or Mixed Mono Mode.
Mixed Mono Mode allows the user to control the mix of each mono signal being transmitted from the transmitter. This is great for bands who want to have two mixes through the transmitter or for a vocalist who wants to control their vocal volume relative to the band mix. The AS-1500R has a bright LCD screen to display the channel number and make navigating the set up menu easier.
If you have never tried in-ear wireless, you owe it to yourself to make the leap. For groups with a vocal orientation, it makes all the difference in intonation, in vocal delivery confidence, and in protecting not only your hearing but your vocal cords as well. With poor monitor, a vocalist's instinct is to push and strian, but with in-ears, every nuance, every subtle inflection can be heard by the vocalist, giving him or her much greater confidence in the performance.
