It works, but...

Comments about Behringer Microphono PP400 Phono Preamp:

I replace my older Recoton pre-amp with this one specifically for the reason that it had a ground connection needed to reduce noise. It does that. It is easy to hook up. The one negative is that is does not boost the signal very high so even when I raise the volume of my computer or audio interface (DigiDesign MBox 3 Pro)) the volume level is still low.

Great product at a reasonable price

Comments about Behringer Microphono PP400 Phono Preamp:

This is a great product for a very reasonable price. I purchased it to use as a preamp to copy my old LP records onto CD's. It worked great out of the box and I'm extremely pleased with it. I'v had a prior bad experience with a Behringer guitar amp, which I returned, so I was a bit skeptical. But I have been plesantly surprised by this preamp. If you're in the market for a phone preamp, then this is the one you should buy.
