Comments about American DJ RotoBeam 4:
This thing takes me back to my roller skating days! I'm not a DJ but I had to have one for myself. I think it would be a great addition to anyone's light rig or for a house party. This guy is lightweight so it's not a pain to put up or take down. It isn't noisy either. It's brighter than I thought it would be, so that's a plus. The only drawback I find is that I would like it to be more sensitive to the music. You gotta have it pretty close to a speaker or sub for it to do its thing. There's not a sensitivity adjustment at all. It's not a huge deal, but something I would change on it. You can control some of the things this light does with the remote or iPad/iPhone app, but I think it does best on full auto sound mode! I really like when this light starts strobing. The beams on this light would look killer thru some fog. I think it looks pretty good without fog too. The spots or dots it puts on the floor or ceiling aren't big but they are bright. For what I'm gonna use it for, it's gonna be just fine.
