Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

Bought this for my son's 18th birthday. He's already an accomplished keyboard player and he fell in love with this synth. It was really easy right out of the box. He was up and playing in minutes. We also found a lot of videos on YouTube showing how to use and explore this instrument. Worth every penny paid.

Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

I have been the proud owner of this little synth for about 7 years now and i'm pretty satisfied. I have primarily used it for rock music. If your looking for an inexpensive way to make your own synth sounds and play them live then this is probably your board. There are good presets on this but they are all sort of one trick ponies with limited real world applications. Another good function is the vocoder but I would suggest getting a better quality mic for it.

my biggest pet peeve is how not user friendly it is. You cant really just figure it out on your own because many commands are random button combinations and its only a three letter display. Also if you don't have a pro audio / audio phyle background then your gonna have a bad time because they use a lot of that vocabulary in the controls.

all of that being said, it is a powerful little synth and if your willing to put in the time to make it work for you then its probably your best option. If your looking for plug in and play user friendly keyboards I would suggest a different model.

Plug and Play

Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

Very good product. The keyboard is slightly smaller but the sound is truly impressive. I have mine connected to a Roland SH-201 and they work well together. It plays right out of the box without having to study the manuel for hours before getting any sound. User friendly and worth the price which is reasonable for this synthesizer.

GREAT mini-synth

By

from San Diego California

Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

The MicroKORG is a great synth. And the price for this is just amazing. you will not find a better synth for this price. I use this synth for many things such as, a midi controller, recording in my home studio, and live uses with my garge band. There are many great fetures and you wont run out of sounds because of how much you can do with the editing and the knobs. If you are looking into buying this BUY it. You won't regret it.

oh yeah.

Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

I purchased this synth on recommendations from other players, message boards, and chat rooms. I found that the sound is awesome. MUCH larger than the microKorg's physical size. Very good range, excellent control and good price. Same sound engine as in the ever popular MS2000. This synth is the real deal.

Unbelievable

By

from NYC

Comments about MicroKORG Synthesizer/Vocoder:

The sounds you can get from this thing are not believable, meaning unbelievable....especially when you consider it's price. Don't listen to the playa haters who will tell you this is just a toy...this "toy" will be famous one day....this thing can tear your speakers to shreds on the low end and stab your third eye with it's filters. Light weight, battery operated, and vocoder with FREE microphone. The mini keys may not be for everyone, but whatever....you'd be a fool to not try it before you knock it.
