Comments about Recording King ROS-06 Classic Series 12th Fret OOO Solid-Top Acoustic Guitar:

Maybe I'm one of the very lucky ones, the setup on the one I got was right on the money...low action with no buzzing. The frets were smooth, and the turners worked very well. It is put together very well and the detail on the finish is nice. Be aware that it does have a wide neck..which is great for finger-picking. If you're on a budget, you'd have to look far and wide to match the quality of the one I got...if you had twice the money...maybe 3 times the money. Having said that, I do have a 1963 Martin D-28 (purchased new by my father) Brazilian Rosewood, and a 2015 Martin 000-16GT and several other I know a quality guitar.

Comments about Recording King ROS-06 Classic Series 12th Fret OOO Solid-Top Acoustic Guitar:

There are a lot of Made in China / Designed in USA brands out there these days and their quality keeps getting better. I purchased this guitar during a sale because it filled a void in my collection. It has a wide 1 13/16th nut width and a longer body. The body is thin which makes it very comfortable to play for long periods of time.
The workmanship on this guitar is pretty amazing for the price. The faux tortoise binding is beatiful, the laminate mahogany back and sides is very nicely done. The inside of the guitar is clean as a whistle. The fret work is ok, the tuners are ok, both could be better but it is what it is.

This guitar is very light and has a delicate feel when played. The sound is full and deep. It does better with finger picking or light flat picking but will get overdriven (distorted) fairly quickly when strummed aggressively. But that is to be expected with a guitar of this size and price point.
It's nowhere near the Martin that it emulates but for a person on a budget it's pretty darn good. Upgrade the tuners and you'll have a good back-up guitar for gigging or it would make a good busking guitar.
Not recommended for people with small hands, the neck is pretty full.

Comments about Recording King ROS-06 Classic Series 12th Fret OOO Solid-Top Acoustic Guitar:

The guitar is great once I did a set up on it to lower the action and replace the horrible D'Addario strings with some Elixir 12/53 Polywebs. This is by far the greatest bargain ever.
