Comments about Ibanez RG8 8-String Electric Guitar:
While the 8-strings might attract you, be cautious. The RG8 is cheaply made and slapped together. The necks are indeed comfortable, but are known to have issues, such as warping and bulges that render the guitar useless. The pickups are not designed to properly accommodate this guitar, and the RG8 seems to have been designed in mind that most owners will simply swap them out for something much better.
If you luck out and get a decent neck, then great, but again be careful as these are cheap and are known to have serious problems. Ibanez customer support is also shaky at best.
