Affordable and easy to play.

The Mahalo Hano Series MH2W Wide Neck Concert Ukulele is fun, affordable and easy to play. It's crafted in Indonesia with a wider neck that makes it easier to transition from playing guitar. The body is made of segnon, a tonewood native to Indonesia, and has an arched back for comfort and increased volume. The neck is also segnon and features a mahogany fingerboard with 16 nickel frets. Open gold plated tuners are geared for precision. Other appointments include a mahogany bridge with NuBone nut and Aquila strings. Includes gig bag.

Comments about Mahalo Hano Series MH2W Wide Neck Concert Ukulele:

Yes I am a novice...I was having difficulty forming chords on my Luna cedar top uke...so I decided to try a wider neck...the Maholo neck has just a little more room but it makes it easier on my hands and fingers to form chords without cramping. It doesnt sound as good as my Luna...but the sound that comes out of this mahalo hano wide neck is nothing short of superb .Seems to be well constructed...the wood seems to be pretty thin but still it is solid...only time will tell...I had the Kala concert uke for a few days and sent it back...this Mahalo sounds nicer and richer
