A funky ride that blends stroke and tone in perfect harmony.
More and more drummers want light-to-medium weight rides that deliver great wash, and the AAX Groove Ride does not disappoint. Brighter than its HHX cousin, with simmering tone and great feel, it's a great light ride or heavy crash.

Comments about Sabian AAX Groove Ride Cymbal:
So I demoed this, and wow. I was using a 22" omni because I wanted to crash and have a good pingy ride sound. The omni lacked a cutting bell despite its raw unlathed finish. This has a raw bell and this thing just rings. Cuts through the tough punk, heavy alternative I play. I will say that although the aax has a nice woody stick definition sound, the actual ride won't cut unless you have it mic'd up pretty well. My favorite feature is its light frame. It crashes like a 21" maybe medium/medium heavy crash which I love. The one I demoed and the one I have were inconsistent in make. The demo crashes so beautifully, but lacked a stick sound, this has the stick but sounds a tad heavier on the crash. I would compare it to a sweet ride, but this won't swell out of control like the sweet will, and this has a darker more mello attack on the stick sound. Very pretty, obviously I still want the omni back in the future, but the money was tight and this will more then cover your needs.
