A conga you can take anyplace.
Pearl's Travel Conga delivers real conga sound from a compact 3-1/2" deep drum that can be carried literally in a backpack. The wood shell and stave construction is identical to Pearl's full-size congas, and the Remo FiberSkyn 3 synthetic head yields outstanding tone, while resisting fluctuations from changes in temperature or humidity.
Five precision Allen bolts provide accurate and easy tuning via the included foam-handle Allen wrench. The Pearl Travel Conga can be played on your lap or mounted on a snare stand and integrated into your drum set or percussion setup.
- 3-1/2" deep Thai Oak shell

Comments about Pearl Travel Conga:
I bought the Tumba 12 1/2" and enjoy the portability. Tuning is tricky compared to a full drum. It has a great smack & muff. The bass is flat. I am thinking about drilling some air holes in the bottom as it is a Banjo construction. I will consult Pearl. It allows me to travel & practice. It is difficult to pack a Conga/Djembe in your carry on. That is what I bought it for. Overall I like it and may pack it in to an open mike/karaoke when in the Carribean. It fits securely on a snare drum stand. The construction is sound and the drum attractive with it's sparkle finish. I play Tumba in an African Style Drum Group and with an Improvu Jazz ensemble. We also do percussion back up with other original groups who lack percusssion.
