Revolutionary. Sinister. Unconventional.
The Meinl Kompressor Crash features fast response with short decay and sustain. Tones are slightly trashy but with some of the body of a traditional crash. Use it in your set-up to create sounds of distinction.

Comments about Meinl Kompressor Crash Cymbal:
I have been using only old A. Zildjians for the past 20 years. Nothing else. I read about these when I heard Benny Greb playing them... then I listened to a few other drummers. Long story short, I have converted to a ful set of the Generation X cymbals. The crash is full, distinct and has the perfect decay - not splashy or gongy. Nice decay of overtones. Doesn't sound like brass (yuck) not quite like bell or b8 bronzes. Unique look, unique sound that will compliment or, in my case replace, your present set up. If you buy one, you will want them all!!!
