Jingles for your hat.

The MEINL Hi-Hat Tambourine is a new effect that fits on any standard hi-hat rod. It can be set up to complement hi-hat cymbals or can be played on its own. Best of all possible worlds!

Comments about Meinl Hi-Hat Tambourine:

I have played several of the "hat trick" type tambourines before, but have never had one that fulfilled all my needs until this one arrived. Before buying this one, I looked at many of these types of hi hat tambourines online and this design is one of a kind. Not only does it give you a loud, cutting "ching" when you play the hi hat with your foot, but it also doubles as a Drum Set Tambourine in that you can hit it with a stick. Most other designs either do not let you do hit it or they only have 1-2 small designated linear areas that you can strike. In my experience, hi hat tambourines tend to "spin" around some so this striking area is going to be out of reach at the worst possible times. This is a great product that sounds terrific and does not take up unnecessary space on your hi hat. I highly recommend it.
