The Jo-Ral 3510 Trumpet Short Cut is an innovative new helper to the brass player. The Jo-Ral short cut allows you to do warmups, slurs and tonguing without using your trumpet. It is excellent for extending practice time, improving embouchure, and as a lip builder. The Short Cut is a piece of copper tubing with 2 holes, a ventura at the top and a bell-shape at the bottom. A mouthpiece can be inserted into the ventura. The "Short Cut" is comparable to the natural instrument. At 5-1/2" it is small enough to take with you anywhere.

Comments about Jo-Ral 3510 Trumpet Brass Short Cut:
The brass short cut is a nice tool for warm up and mild practice when you don't have your trumpet. If you are a pressure player, the benefit will not be as great since back pressure is less than your instrument. However, in limited use it can help maintain your chops, help with setting your chops, and breath control. Disadvantage is that it is designed pretty much any mouthpiece. For some mouthpieces, the brass short cut will cut through the silver plate, so don't use your favorite mouthpiece.
