Comments about Epiphone Thunderbird Pro-V 5-string Bass:
I purchased one of these and I really do like the bass, It seems very solid & has excellent smooth action playabilty. Has a wide neck but is fairly thin so easy to play. I purchased the natural oil finish and it is exactly what it is. Unfinished finish, I like it myself but if you want a finished finsh try the others. I have played both. Now the Big issue I have on these is the Low B String is very week has very low ouput, Its not just mine I have tried others and they are all Poor output on the Low B String. Quality Control at Gibson Epiphone must of been asleep on this one. but don't take my word check the online reviews! Nice Solid Bass but Poor Electronics from China! If Gibson Customer Service can take care of this problem Buy It! Otherwise you might as well buy the 4 String Cause that is all you get with this. E thru G sound fantastic.
