It's a good inexpensive bass

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Special Bass with Flame Maple Top:

I got the red one and was pleased with the fit and finish. This is a very good bass for the price. The neck is full length, slim, but solid with a nice feel. Low fret buzz. While most basses in this price range have noisy single coil pickups and bolt on necks, this one has a set neck and quiet hum-buckers. It's well balanced and comfortable to play sitting or standing. It's not neck heavy and has nice even tone. I had to set the intonation, but that's expected. I would recommend this bass to beginners, or as a knock-around for the more experienced player.
