Tech 21

Delivers legendary tube amp sounds.

Built into the Trademark 60, is Tech 21's highly-acclaimed SansAmpTM Tube Amplifier Emulation circuitry, which encompasses all aspects of multiply-miked tube amp rigs. By incorporating this proprietary technology with our special design 12" speaker, the Trademark 60 sounds as big and smooth as a vintage 4x12 cabinet. For studio and live applications, the SansAmp circuitry also enables the Trademark 60 to be run direct to the mixer of a recorder or PA system. Channel 1 offers a range of Fender-styles, from sparkling clean, to semi-dirty to saturated Tweed-style. It has its own Drive, Punch and Level controls. Punch sets the amount of midrange break-up and overdrive. There's also a BiteTMbutton which tightens the low end and add brightness. Channel 2 delivers amp sounds ranging from traditional Marshall-style, to Mesa/Boogie Rectifier-style, to Vox AC30-style. It has its own Drive, GrowlTMand Level controls. Growl is a powerful and sophisticated midrange control. It can give you that scooped-out, heavy sound without making your guitar sound thin, and without any loss of volume. There's a WeepTMbutton, which increases the amount of even harmonics and thickens the sound. It provides a "singing" quality like that of a Class A tube amp. The Master Section includes Low and High EQ controls. The Boost and Reverb functions can be accessed via the footswitch --either individually or in tandem by utilizing the Link button. For solos, in particular, this unique feature gives you the ability of increasing the size of your sound, as well as the volume. Included with the Trademark 60, is a triple-function footswitch to alternate between channels, engage the Effect Loop, and activate the Boost and Reverb functions. Tech 21's footswitch is engineered to utilize any standard 1/4" instrument or speaker cable vs. the usual problematic custom mulit-pin connector. Other features include a full-length, top-of-the-line Accutronics 3-spring reverb; an XLR Direct Output; and a Headphone Output that doubles as a 1/4" direct out should an XLR input not be available on your recorder. The exceptionally versatile Trademark 60 gives you a truckload of big amp sounds in an affordable, cost-effective, 36 lb. combo. Above all, the Trademark 60 delivers consistent, professional quality sound at home, in the garage, on stage, and in the studio.

  • 2 channels and boost function for 4 footswitchable tones
  • Master section with low, high, reverb, and boost controls
  • Low and high EQ
  • Built-in direct box
  • Footswitchable effects loop
  • Headphone output

This is a hot amp, great for gigs and the studio.

Tube Sound Without the Tubes!!

from Rowlett, Texas

Comments about Tech 21 Trademark 60 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Regardless of what anyone tells you, a transistor amp can sound like a tube amp if it's made properly. And this amp is. Tech 21 was doing modeling before anyone. In fact the company was started because no other company wanted the technology at the time! (now they all model) The Trademark 60 sounds like a tube amp, is very versatile, lightweight and reliable. Beautiful clean sounds or great sounding overdrive are both here. It has 2 channels, built in reverb and a boost function that makes the amp louder without changing the sound. And you can adjust the amount of boost you want. And it comes with the footswitch to switch channels, turn the reverb off or on, and switch on or off the boost. Be open minded and just listen to it. Why hassle with tubes if you don't need 'em?

Great amp.

Comments about Tech 21 Trademark 60 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Hi, I wish people would not try to declare/assume things about an amp due to their vision of what can and cannot be played on an amp. I'm a metal head and this amp deliver unless Metallica and Pantera are not metal per Tech 21 settings and soundclips.Sure it sounds best for rock/blues, but it's not totally limited. Use channel 2.

This one covers it all.

Comments about Tech 21 Trademark 60 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Very good clean sound. Not Fender or Ampeg clean but close. Very good distortion channel. Settings take a little getting used to but once you do get used to them you can find a huge variety of sounds. I was buying into the hype of needing a tube amp for "that" sound and drove the music store circuit to check tube amps out. When I got home I plugged into my TM 60 and was very impressed. I liked it better than the Blues Jr. and Traynor YCV 40 that I was considering buying. Hey, the grass is greener on both sides of the fence. These are killer amps. The best non-tube amps out there. Very tubey sounding and can cover country to heavy blues/classic rock. NOT metal amps. Amp has a ton of variabilities so if you are looking for an amp that you can use in any setting this is the amp for you. Tech 21 is very responsive to the customer. When I received the amp a capacitor was bad in the reverb circuit and they took care of me in less than 10 days. Sure it should have been 100% when I received it but these things happen I don't care what brand it is. The important thing is they took care of the customer. I am a Tech 21 fan.

Monster amp

Comments about Tech 21 Trademark 60 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I was looking for a good tube modeling amp. After listening to other brands such as Laney crate, rocktron, Johnson, Marshall avt, Vox valvetronix, line6 ,peavey transtube, I decided to go with Tech21. That's the only solid state amp that can sound so close to tubes and even sounds better than many real tube amps!

most versatile amp

from Toronto, Canada

Comments about Tech 21 Trademark 60 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Unbelievable. You have to try it. It has great tone and you can mold your sound as you want, but still get 100% analog sound. Unlike digital modeling, it really feels like you're playing tubes.
