Comments about TC Helicon Play Electric Voice Processor for Electric Guitarists:

The successor to the awesome GTX is here!
I have owned the Play Electric for a few months now. The improvements to the sound and feel of guitar amp models are HUGE! The speaker emulator works REALLY well when going straight into a PA, which is what I normally do.
That's right, I have no need to carry an amp around. I save channels by using only one channel for both vocals and guitar.
I know it may sound scary to not have "control" over everything, but there is really no need.
As a matter of fact, at solo gigs, I don't even go through a mixer, but run straight into the single analog input on my trusty (and nowadays, rusty) old BOSE L1 MII. Set the appropriate vocal TONE for your voice or for the venue and go! Electric or acoustic don't matter, the Play Electric handles them like a champ. It responds very well to different kinds of guitars and pickups, too.

Do I even need to bring up vocal sound and harmonies now? You know TCH blows everything else out of the water, right? Good.

If you are a solo act, it's awesome. If you're in a band, playing rhythm or lead guitar and singing harmonies, it's equally awesome.

I don't leave home without it, no matter if I just play guitar, or sing as well.

    HIGHLY recommend this product!
