Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

Kustom Sienna30 is a very good sounding and solid amp. It's compact, yet, loud. More than adequate volume for small venues, like coffee houses or any room where you'd be playing for less than 50 people. I can't compare it with all other acoustic amps but, I can tell you I like it better than Behringer ACX450. I ordered the Behringer and even though the specs on it looked good on the paper and it had lots of bells and whistles I wasn't impressed with its' sound nor its' volume which is rate it at 45 watts so I sent it back. The Sienna30 is louder at 30 watts and it produces a better acoustic sound and it has important features that the ACX450 lacked, like Speaker Out, Line Out and effects loop.
I used a Dean Markley Pro Mag Grand (humbucker) soundhole pickup with the sienna30 and the combination of the two blew my mind as to what a nice acoustic sound they generated together. I also used an acoustic electric guitar with Piezo UST pickup, it also sounded awesome.
I'm not a big fan on using effects on an acoustic guitar but I'm glad this amp has the Reverb and the Chorus. The sound is awesome without these two effects, but, I'm sure there will be situations where I may need to use them very conservatively. The volume to the mic channel is equally as impressive, where the Behringer ACX450 mic's channel volume was drastically lower than the guitar channel.
I'm very happy with the purchase of Sienna30. I believe it's under valued and a great bargain. If you can buy it on sale then you got yourself a really great deal!
My gripes about this amp are minor. First off I wish this amp had an input jack for a Drum machine or CD/MP3 player in addition to the guitar and mic inputs. Secondly the jacks on the back are a bit cumbersome to connect to since you have to shove the cords from underneath where there isn't a whole lot of room to work with and I have small hands. Also I wish the name of every input jack on the back panel was printed right above the jack if not horizontally for there is no room, then vertically. As it is now you have to refer to the pictorial graphics on the back panel to see which is which. And last and this is matter of personal preference, I wish the names of the knobs were printed in reverse. The way they are now you can read them right side up if you are standing in front of the amp but we the musicians are usually behind the amp so we can avoid feed back and if we need to make any adjustment we do it from behind the amp. Other than these minor gripes THIS AMP IS GREAT!!

Great Acoustic Amp for the money - Sienna 30

    from Sulphur, LA.

Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

My acoustic/electric or acoustic guitars sound great through this amp. Even my lower end guitars sound better through this amp. I believe the guitars sound better with the use of a microphone versus plugging them in. If you plug a microphone into the guitar input you have to raise the volume a lot more than you do on the microphone input. I only do this when I need the mic for vocals and the guitar input to mic the acoustic guitar. This amp has plenty of volume when playing either at Church, Assisted Living Facilities, etc. I've been playing for about 45 years and remember the old Kustom PA Systems and basically purchased this amp on Kustoms past reputation and after comparing it with many other amps and studing all of the reviews I could find. I don't recommend products very often but I do recommend this amp. In fact, I just placed an order for a Kustom Sienna 65 so my son and I can each have an amp. You can't go wrong for the money.

    Good for the price

Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

This little amp has alot of features for the price. It looks great too. The only bad thing is that it broke on me today only after about two hours of playing through it. The handle broke and I dropped it on my foot. After I was done cursing and yelling, I called the Kustom company and they're sending me a handle for free. Things break and It's a fact, but with great customer service like this, I don't regret buying this at all.

I don't even like acoustic amps...

    from Coloma, MI

Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

This little guy rocks! All my acoustics sound great through this thing. I can usually get the bass to distort on a little speaker...not this one. I have guitars with active undersaddle piezo's and they sound great. I have guitars with passive soundboard transducers, with plenty of gain in this amp they sound amazing too. The mic channel is impressively loud! Like a little PA system. Small, flexible, great sound, get it now before they raise the price.

    Great Sound, Great Amp

    from Milwaukee area

Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I wanted an amp to use in smaller venues that will not break my back to lug. I was hesitant to buy this amp due to the low pricetag. I had a wonderful Kustom lead amplifier way back in college days, so I decided to give the Sienna 30 a try based upon the Kustom name. I'm glad I did. It is amazing the sound you can get out of an inexpensive amplifier these days. The sound is crystal clear. The equaliization allows you to taylor the sound exactly to what you desire. The reverb/chorus ring really clear. In addition, there are nice ins/outs on this amp that so many in the price class (even Marshall's small accoustic amp) do not have! The Sienna is built like a tank, so it should hold up well. I'm well pleased. My Takamine 12 and Washburn 6 sound really nice and full through this!

    Costs cheap, sounds very "expensive"...

    from Zagreb, Croatia

Comments about Kustom Sienna 30 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

Kustom is a world champion for small combo amps! Their TUBE 12A is already a legend, and SIENNA 35 is on a best way to become one.Inadeqate Celestion speaker is substituted by special designed 10' driver (more hi-fi like) plus tweeter. Of course, nothing hi-fi really occures because it depends on the coloration of cabinet which is pretty much the same. But it goes perfectly well with metal strings and all that sharp and ugly piezo kind of sound transmission. It just upgrades the sound of a dreadnought or a classical nylon as a kind of widened guitar body - colorated, precisely focused, meaty, warm, airy, punchy, mellow and brilliant... Ideal for small rooms (clubs) gigging in duet with violin or another guitar, for example (as I do). For that kind of money, SIENNA 35 offers too much to be true: highly professional sound, smart 3-band equalizer, feedback control, useful effects-program (reverbs and choruses), mic input, two sensitivity levels (one for each channel), nice vintage outlook, easy to handle and carry package... Charmy small beast making you sounding really great.
