Comments about Standtastic 102 KSB 60" Double Tier Keyboard Stand with Deluxe Bag:

I'm a tall guy, and the usual X stands were not working for me. Anything would work in a sitting position, but I like to stand when I play. The higher you adjust the X stand, the more unstable it is, and even at it's highest it was still too short.

I'd looked at just about every stand available, and did a lot of research online for feedback from other tall players. Everything pointed me to this stand. As much as I liked the idea of getting a column stand, they don't go high enough and aren't as stable. Also, I should give a big thumbs up to Tyler from LM Products (manufacturer) for his prompt reply to questions about dimensions. None of the other manufacturers I contacted bothered to reply.

Some users have said that it's difficult to setup the first time, but I didn't find that to be the case. The markings on the posts make it easy to set the height on both sides at the same height. The majority of the time setting up was spent adjusting the height of the arms, getting it just in the right spots.

I'm only using one 61 key keyboard with this stand now, so I setup the 2nd set of arms underneath the first and put a black shelf on it. This gives me a place to put my keyboard and trackpad, notes, headphone, cocktails, etc.

Only thing I'd like to see would be a couple more knobs to loosen and tighten the legs when setting up and taking down. There is one set of knobs on there now, but you also have to loosen two wingnuts on the bottom to set the width/spread of the two legs. Not a huge issue, and I'm sure I can pick up some knobs locally.
