Award-winning pickup for acoustic guitars.

The Shadow Prestige Active Sound Hole Humbucker is designed to give a truly authentic acoustic guitar sound. Unlike most other magnetic pickups that give an electric guitar sound, the SH 145 Prestige gives a crisp natural acoustic sound.

The guitar pickup is built as a stacked humbucker using powerful samarium cobalt magnets. Adjustable pole pieces are trimmed to provide a perfect string balance for the acoustic guitar strings.

A complete shielded case and low impedance output protect it from outside magnetic disturbances and makes it totally hum-free. Electronic circuitry is powered by a single 3V cell battery with extremely low power consumption. Volume control and easy installation make this award-winning pickup one of the most user-friendly pickups on the market. An end pin connection cable for permanent installation and a detachable quick mount 12' (4m) cable are included.

Great sounding but horrible clamps

Comments about Shadow SH 145 Prestige Active Soundhole Humbucker:

I can't believe this pickup hasnt caught on. It is amazing and beats the you know what out of any of the Fishamns and LR Baggs. This pickup is that good. The only reason it does not get a 10 is because of the clamps for use in the soundhole. terrible design and why havent they fixed ths. You put this amazing sounding pickup and give it the Fishman way of tightening to the soundhole and it's a 10 squared.
