Good, but could be better

Comments about Neotech Wireless Pouch:

THE GOOD: I bought this item (the small version) for the Line 6 Relay G50 transmitter and it works well. It fits nice and snug (but not so tight that its difficult to get out). The antenna and cable poke out the top next to the velcro strap as they're supposed to. The velcro straps on back hold solidly to my bass strap. I also like the neoprene as it gives a nice bit of padding.

THE UNIMPORTANT: Being able to access the two buttons, lights and screen on the face of the unit is a non-issue for me. During soundcheck I just find a channel that works and put it back into the pouch. I monitor battery life via the receiver unit (a great feature of the Relay system).

THE NITPICKY: I have two complaints that could be solved by change to the design. First is that I can't mount it to my strap like I want to. Currently I attach the pouch to my strap so that the antenna and cable are pointing up. I would prefer to mount it the opposite way so that the cable doesn't have to do a u-turn on the way to my bass. This is due to the fact that I don't trust the velcro closure on it. Don't get me wrong, the velcro seems plenty strong, but I don't like the idea of a transmitter that expensive being supported solely by a strip of velcro. Here's how I would change the design: make the openings in the bottom corners of the pouch more open like the top side. That way, I could just insert my transmitter "upside down" which would result in the antenna and cable pointing down toward my input jack and the velcro strap being on the top, leaving almost no possibility of accidentally falling out. This would also address my second complaint: the POWER and MUTE switches would be much easier to use if the bottom corners were opened up a bit. For the record, I did try putting the receiver in upside down and it sort of worked. With a bit of pushing, the neoprene bottom squeezed sideways and allowed the antenna and cable to poke out the bottom, but there was too much pressure on the cable for me to feel comfortable using it that way.

Fits like a Neo-Glove!!!

Comments about Neotech Wireless Pouch:

I actually own 2 of these. I use one for my bass wireless, an X2 Digital Wireless. The XDT1 fits perfectly into the Medium size. I also use a Shure PSM-200 in-ear monitor. The H2 transmitter is a bit more sung, but still fits nicely, and all the jacks and knobs are exposed quite sufficiently for proper use. I've even used this as a holder for my tuner while playing an acoustic show and didn't have my whole rig with me! I see what other reviewers have stated about the pouch sliding down a thin strap, this could be resolved by a pin or needle and thread. I've been wireless for many years and have dropped a transmitter or two in my time. I defiantly will use this or a similar product from now on!

does it's job perfectly.

Comments about Neotech Wireless Pouch:

I purchased the neotech small pouch for a AKG PT40 pro transmitter. the transmitter fits perfectly. Because the instrument cable comes out of the very center of the pt40, the pouch is a "perfect match" but the main latch is plenty flexible and goes right around the cable and secures great. it's a simple product that just does it's job well.
