Transparent, acoustic, balanced sound ” very true to the guitar.

The patent pending iBeam itself weighs only 1/3rd of an ounce. This revolutionary bridge plate transducer easily sticks to the bridge plate on the inside of the guitar and does not affect the acoustic tone of the guitar in any way. The iBeam is microphonic enough to hear the rich (but correct) texture of finger squeak and top tapping, but is resistant to feedback and gives you excellent amplified sound without a hint of piezo quack. Included with each iBeam is a placement jig that allows you to install the pickup in minutes and get the ideal placement for the transducer inside the guitar.

Reproduces natural tone with perfect string balance and full dynamic range
User installable in minutes
Comes with a special installation jig that assures ideal placement of the transducer

Comments about LR Baggs iBeam Acoustic Guitar Pickup:

This is absolutely the best pickup i've ever had in an acoustic. I have the passive model paired with an outboard para-acoustic DI box also from baggs.. I personally love the way it sounds but more importantly, i'm always getting raves from sound guys, folks listening and anyone that ever borrows my guitar about how natural and "mic'd" it sounds. There is no quack like you usually get.. and it's very feedback resistant. It picks up all the great acoustic sounds and nuances though such as string slide, percussive sounds, etc.. very "Woody" Since it's a bridge plate transducer, rather than a saddle transducer, it picks up the natural guitar sound rather than just the strings at the bridge.. I can't possible give this thing enough stars. It's also VERY easy to install. Just stick it to the bridge place and connect the leads to your bridge pin jack and you're done!
