Comments about Kyser Lifeguard 6 or 12 String Acoustic Guitar Humidifier:

Great design because it completely covers the hole. It's soft and plyable so it does not scratch anything. It should fit just about any guitar round hole within about an inch of the outside diameter. As an HVAC mechanic I understand how humidity is dispersed in a given space. The only 'con' is that the sponge does not TAKE AWAY humidity as only gives humidity. If they used treated crystals instead of the sponge it would give as well as take away humidity.

Comments about Kyser Lifeguard 6 or 12 String Acoustic Guitar Humidifier:

Still a pretty new product so i'm not sure on the effects that it has had on my guitar. after taking the advice of some other reviews that i have read, i removed the middle plastic piece (very easily just pull it off) and the humidifier goes on much easier. i also read another tip to use a straw to soak the sponge through the holes. This saved a lot of time having to submerge the product in water and dry it. very simple device.. pretty much a fancy way to put a sponge inside a case. still feel pretty neutral (3 stars) about it right now.
