Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

The Ernie Ball 2233 set for 12 string electric is the best combination of string gauges I've found for my preferences, when used on my Fender Stratocaster XII. EB makes a lighter set, but this one rings out better and balances well with the neck and pickups. The downside is that I've had sets of strings go bad (start getting rusty) if I stock-pile a few sets at a time, but I haven't found any that I like better. Five stars, for me would be the same gauge set made by Elixir. They make a set, but it's slightly heavier gauge. For my fingers, it's just too much. I can live with these strings on my guitar.

Great strings!

Comments about Ernie Ball 2233 Nickel 12-String Light Electric Guitar Strings:

These are great strings. Provides the wound "Low G", or 5th, string. If unwound is used here, intonation problems will persist. Personally, I buy single-pack 10's and 13's to replace 9's and 12's included in this set, but I stick with Ernie Ball. Sound is jangly..compressed, sounds like McGuinn. What more could you ask for?
