The Eminence Lil' Texas 12" Guitar Speaker is a lightweight 12" speaker with a little Texas edge. Lil' Texas delivers a very balanced tone with crisp mids and top end bite, tight bottom end, and very American tonality. Great for classic rock, blues, and country.

Eminence recommends the Lil" Texas speaker as an alternate replacement for the Eminence Tonkerlite speaker in the Rocktron Velocity S1122 and the THD Ported 2 x 12 cabinets.

    Lil Texas

Comments about Eminence Lil' Texas 12" 125W Guitar Speaker:

I installed this speaker in my Crate V50 amp looking for a better tone that the factory speaker. I noticed "some" difference but not that much from the factory speaker. Changed my tubes also, noticed a bigger change in tone with the tube change. This amp came with Sovtek pre's and Ruby Tubes for power tubes. Switched to Tungso for the prel and CAD for the power. IMO.....I debated over the Lil Texas and the Texas Heat. Save some money and go with the Texas Heat. The Lil Texas is a very nice speaker but it did not make that big of a difference on the overall sound.

    NIce weight saving speaker

Comments about Eminence Lil' Texas 12" 125W Guitar Speaker:

I put the Li'l Texas into a Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue, replacing the Fender/Jensen C10N. The Fender didn't sound bad, but since I'm closer to 60 than 50, I figured cutting 5 pounds off the weight of the amplifier was a good idea as long as the sound wasn't compromised. Well, the sound is better. I play a MusicMan Silhouette HSH and I'm getting outstanding tone and articulation. I don't try to describe "woody" or push the speaker to breakup. I like to play "Fender Clean" and this combo excels at that.
