Comments about Electro-Harmonix 6V6EH Tubes:

As 6V6's go there's a few out there that are good. Some not so. The EH 6V6 model is a select unit and quite frankly the clearest, strongest, yet smoothest I've ever used in 50 years. I grew up using tube amps and missed the tubes of old. Well here's one that rivals them. In the small Fender amp I installed these in, it was like giving the amp a new lease on life. It is louder but with more clean headroom. Smoother in overall tone yet still crisp and clear. Very impressive. By looking at the interior components one can see that it is well made and care is taken in assembly. This is now the power tubes that will remain in my amps from now on. The others simply don't have what the EH models do.
