Bright, edgy shredders.

Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46.

Hi-Beam electric guitar strings from DR are very much like their standard Tite-Fit strings in feel and flexibility, but are much brighter and have an edge to their tone. For rockers and head-bangers looking for the brightness and edge missing in the warmth and fatness of the standard Tite-Fit guitar strings.

Comments about DR Strings MTR10 Hi-Beam Nickel Medium Electric Guitar Strings:

to start off i bought sets of these strings for a recently acquired les paul. the gibson bright strings were lifeless, so of course i wanted the best for the lester. i"ve used all types of guitar strings; they sound great, look the same as any other, too to soon to comment on string life, have a feeling it will be good. usually i use ernie ball ,love them due to my playing style-tapping, extreme bending, they never let me down. on the other side, they lose their life pretty quick. to sum it up, i like both, looks like i"ll buy these again, but still have use for slinkys. it seems that the dr strings just have more definition, well crafted. keep in mind that these strings are not vacume packed, they are packaged 2 strings in each pack instead of each string having its own enclosure-really don"t care for that, but not a issue. overall, i like them!
