I had a Gibson crack due to dried out wood. Did some research and found out if the wood is "cupping" between the grain then it is dried out. Checked my acoustics and they were all like this. I bought several of these and they seem to be improving including the crack in the Gibson. The humidifiers are simple (wet the sponge), hang on the strings/ they don't touch the wood, and easy to maintain. Most important, they work.

I have one of these and it works great for the price. Try loosening your strings that hold it and you won't break strings so often. It does what it's designed to do and is cost effective.

I love this new humidifier it is so easy to use! We live in Arizona the humidity gets down to 8 sometimes. I keep two in my case with my Taylor. One of the in hole ones & the smaller one that fits in the side of the case. The improvements you have made makes it so easy to use. Thanks!

a lot less messy than the rubber tube type humidifiers, I now have three of these. I actually preferred the syringe model, as the newer ones are not quite as convenient to fill, but still pretty good overall.

Good product for the money. You will need to check it every week or so. For the price, can not be beat. I have one in every guitar.

I use this humidifier for my classical guitar and my guitar has never sounded better. It works great for me, and I have been using this for a year now with no snapping of strings. Very cheap and more effective than other expensive in-the-case humidifier.

It is designed be attached to the strings. Unfortunately, it places unwanted pressure on the strings. My g-string snapped twice in a month because the pressure on the strings. It still works as a humidifier. But if you don't change your strings once a week, it's not worth it.
