A little more open than the M13 mouthpiece.

Profile 88
The only difference between the "Traditional" and "Profile 88" mouthpieces is in the exterior angle of the beak. Therefore, the musician is free to choose the model which suits his purpose in terms of best playing position, easiest sound emission, greatest playing comfort and the most controllable and precise articulation.

Best Mouthpiece I've Had

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about Vandoren Series 13 Lyre Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece:

This mouthpiece has really gotten me places, especially to a state audition. I really approve of it and am trying the M15, but so far I think the M13 has been the best of luck for me.

Great mouthpiece!

Comments about Vandoren Series 13 Lyre Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece:

I learned how to play the clarinet as an adult about four years ago. Already a musician, I was struggling to consistently get out a decent sound with a stock mouthpiece. A music teacher friend recommended a few mouthpieces to use with my Buffet E11 clarinet. I have tried several, but this one is always easy to blow and produces a nice, clear sound.
