Comments about Selmer Ray Hyman Saxophone Straps:
I've been using Ray Hyman sax straps for close to 25 years and own several. They are my strap of choice because they are comfortable, easy to adjust, and secure. I still use the first one I ever owned and none have ever broken. I decided to order two more because two of my saxes didn't have a Hyman in the case and I was tired of pulling one out of another case when I wanted to play one of those saxes. The new Hyman straps are significantly more difficult to adjust than my older ones. It seems that there is more friction between the strap and the adjustment piece. I have a vague recollection of thinking this the last time I bought a Hyman (which was at lest 10 years ago), so maybe it just need time to break-in. Even with the more difficult adjustment, I'd still by this strap over any others. I just can't give it 5 stars because it isn't as easy to use as my other Hymans.
