The hallmark of the Selmer Paris C85 Series Bb clarinet mouthpiece is its pure power. The Selmer C85 mouthpiece can handle extreme dynamic levels without spreading and are popular with orchestral clarinetists who have to project from the middle of the ensemble to the back of the hall.

Comments about Selmer Paris C85 Series Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece:
It is a loud sound it products, but tends to lose it darker tone in the lower register. Not much but, there is a lost. It needs more air to play it. I would recomment this for concerts, and out-air partys where you need the sound. This is better then the lund metal mouth pieces out there. There selling for bring loud.as this C85 plays good in all registers, and products a jazzie sound, and you want to be notice this mouth piece is it. I play alot of concerts, and out side music Oldies 50's and Praise music in which I use the Clarient. No one sleeps in our Church.. I think the Selmer HS is better overall, but it does not give out the Sound the C85 loud in tone. and projects the sounds. I would rate it a 8 or 9 out pefect ten.
