    Pretty Good

    By Zach Frotton

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

They're pretty good. I have the bight of some kind of wild, exotic beast, so I bit right through the thin plastic one, but The rubber ones are pretty good.

    Double them up

    By Tom Herebell

    from Cleveland, Ohio

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

For those who find the clear vinyl patches too thin and the rubber parches to fragile, try doubling them up. A clear patch on top of the rubber lasts a long time. Of course it depends on your bite. I use the single vinyl on Bb clarinet and Eb clarinet. The thick rubber (with and without the vinyl on top) for alto, the rubber alone on tenor and of necessity the thick rubber with vinyl on the top for soprano. I no longer will play without them.. Been playing these axes since 1948. I shudder to estimate the number of pieces I have darn near bit through. No More! Patches are a lot easier to use than cutting up tire patches.

I wont play another mouthpiece without the patch cushion. They work great.....no vibrations and your teeth feel comfortable resting on it.

    pretty bad, but....

    By Katie-bPiW_

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

I think the cushions are great, and the cut down of vibrations through my head while playing is great. Using a metal mouthpiece means there are more vibrations (than a rubber), and I do a large amount of playing, so a headache is definetly not what I want. However, when I peeled my cushion off my mouthpiece, I unfortunately pulled off a chunk of the gold plating off with it. Given the mouthpiece cost a dime I am very concerned. To anyone else in this situation, BE CAREFUL. Apart from that, their great! I'm dissapointed that I didn't find them when I was with braces.

    Don't play without one!

    By Amanda K. Gomez-Yepiz

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

These cushions are great! I prefer the black rubber ones that prevent your teeth from sliding or moving, making grooves in your beloved mouthpiece! It makes you feel as if you have a better mouth grip on your mouthpiece so you feel more secure when you play. Also, it feels very comfortable on your teeth because it minimizes vibration through them to your head. It REALLY helps with the pain when you're wearing braces. Don't play without one!

    Excellent

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

I bought these 2 years ago when I bought a new mouthpiece, and they work extremely well! I don't have sensitive teeth, but they eliminate vibrations, as well as help protect the mouthpiece. Only downside I've found is that I now cannot play without them!

    It's just what I needed!

    By Rebecca Welch

    from Charlotte, NC USA

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

If I had known what a difference the Runyon mouthpiece cushion would make, I would have gotten one a long time ago. My teeth are sort of sensitive, and I was having trouble (especially with the lower notes). I am extremely satisfied!

    Best thing ever invented

    By SMHSaxDude

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

I bought these a few years ago. I remember before using them I had several problems. After playing for a while my teeth would start to hurt, and my sound was vibrating along with the mouthpiece. Upon buying these it helped to stop the problems, my teeth would no longer hurt. Eventually I bit through them though. Maybe its only drawback. I don't recommend the clear ones though, it's as if you haven't put anything between the mouthpiece and your teeth. It barely does anything for you. Even though the black ones are plainly visible on any mouthpiece, it's a small price to pay for better results.

    great product

Comments about Runyon Teeth and Mouthpiece Saver:

I have played for years and went through the pains of trying to play sax with braces. Having your teeth moved every month and then putting a vibrating reed and mpc in your mouth is painful. These patches help eliminate those vibrations and help young players with braces play with less pain. I played with these patches then and still do. The patches come in black and clear and are different thicknesses, the clear being thinner, so choose carefully, based on the amount of biting you do and vibration elimination you need.
