A better reed.
Here are 5 reasons to play Vintage reeds: A richer, more vibrant and woody quality for the type of sound many leading reed players prefer. Greater vibration potential and livelier response. Resistance to warping, splitting, crinkling at the tip, or waterlogging. Meticulous manufacturing techniques maximize the number of good reeds per box. New Reeds
Comments about Reeds Australia Vintage Bb Clarinet Reeds:
I recently changed over to another brand of clarinet reed, Australia Vintage Bb Clarinet Reeds. I have found them to be of excellent quality and am still in the process of evaluation. As we all know, EVERY reed is different. The quality of these reeds is something that I was looking for and was not disappointed in the box of ten that I purchased. Am looking forward to trying some additional strength reeds in 3 and 3.5. Great Price and marvelous customer service from Music123.

high quality, consistent reeds
Comments about Reeds Australia Vintage Bb Clarinet Reeds:
The Vintage reeds by Reeds Australia are of a very high quality and I believe they should be carefully considered by all clarinetists. The cane of these reeds, carefully grown and cured in South Australia, is of an excellent and consistent quality. Starting with a fine raw material, this small company pays meticulous attention to detail, and produces a beautifully crafted product. These reeds produce a warm, focused, full-bodied, centered tone quality. The response is excellent throughout the entire range of the instrument and at the widest of dynamic extremes. An added plus is that the reeds are very consistent and require a minimum of adjustment. Once broken in, they last longer than any other reed that I have played. I have found that using Vintage reeds allows me more time to spend on producing music and far less in the eternal quest for the perfect reed. The same fields that produce the cane for these reeds also produces the grapes for the fine wine from this part of Australia. One good vintage deserves another.
