Excellent, practical case for doubler's. I'm a middle school band director and like to keep my chops up on all my instruments. The challenge has always been the multiple trips to the car to load up before weekends and holidays. Now that's solved! Only negative I've found is the flute and clarinet don't fit my horns really well; however, as saxophone is my principal, I've got way more invested in it and the case fits it wonderfully. If you're looking to haul multiple woodwinds (you could easily put an oboe case in the clarinet spot) easily you should definitely consider this case.
Nice, compact case/carrier. There is a physical case for the flute and clarinet that can be removed from the main case zippered areas. Yes, the main case does NOT lay flat -- it opens in a clamshell manner due to the clarinet and flute reserved areas, but this is the only significant nusiance. The durability of the case, feet, rollers, handle and main zipper is ok -- you get what you are paying for here. This case will NOT stand up to lots of abuse, so if you need the durability, spend a few hundred dollars more for something that can survive that type of stress.
