For the past four years I've experienced the quality of three different brand of cases. I had a Yamaha case, but it was dreadfully heavy on my shoulders. After the Yamaha I purchased an Artley case. I tried to get used it, but I didn't like the way my clarinet fit the case. So I made my 3rd and last purchase a ProTec case. It's wonderful. It's lightweight, convenient and of good size. I don't belive I'll be searching another case because ProTec is the best.

EXCELLENT LITTLE CASE
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
This was a Christmas gift for our 7th grader. We were very pleased with the quality and lightness of the case. We llikethe little outside pocket for music & supplies. I think she'll love it. The only thing we were disappointed in was the color choice. We ordered the royal blue case that was shown on the website, but what we received was navy blue. The regular blue shown in the picture is not the actual color. The color is not as important as the overall quality which we are very happy with.

Lightweight and convenient, but certainly not durable
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
The PRO TEC is a nice case, but can't hold up to the rigors of 250-400 gigs year after year. If you are able to baby your case, then you will be happy with a PRO TEC. However, if you need something that wil l";take a lickin' and keep on tickin'"; this isn't the case for you. Of course, a little duct tape can do wonders . . .

A few small drawbacks
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
The case is well-made, light, and I love the shoulder strap. The pocket won't hold music, but it's great for everything else you need - tuner, repair kits, reeds, etc. The only thing I'd change is the way the case is weighted. The molded base (the one you put the pieces in) is so light that it can't counterbalance the side with the pouch. Once you've removed one instrument piece from the base, the pouch lid becomes heavier and it will tip over backwards, spilling out the rest of your unassembled clarinet. You have to dedicate one hand to steadying the case while you assemble your instrument. It's rather hard to put a clarinet together with one hand! I usually end up trying to hold the base down with an elbow. The material is very durable, stain-resistant, but it does have a tendency to pick up pet hairs and lint. They come off very easily, however.

Pretty, durable,
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
I bought this case and I love it. Even when it is very cold outside, the clarinet is kept warm and safe. It handles the roughness of being crammed into a school locker very well. It looks sleek and professional. It is definitely better than my old, beat-up case!

This case is great!
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
It is great especially since it has a front pocket to a lot of things. It has a very comfortable handle too. Since it is waterproof I can take it out in the rain. I recommend this case if you need a new one.

Pretty good for the money
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
I bought one of these when I was in high school, and still use it today. The only suggestion I'd make is more space for music to be carried in it. The little pocket on the front is good for reeds and swabs, but not really to hold any music.

It's one great case!
Comments about Protec Slimline Clarinet PRO PAC Case:
Having to lug a clarinet case from class to class, I decided I needed a better case than my plain black plastic case. So I decided to invest in this case and I found it to be wonderful with the compact size and light weight feel. The extra pocket is definitely a plus! This is case is definitely worth the money!
