I put my hard case inside the large area then my cleaning rags and rod go in the small outer portion of the bag, although a piccalo would fit in the small outside portio of the bag. It protects my flute with the cushioned lining, has very durable stitching and overall high quality. Best of all was the low price of this bag by Music 123!

This case is great...fits my flute nicely, easy to carry with the strap. The pocket is roomy, but a yamaha piccolo case was a tight fit. However, it is very helpful!

This case is great. I have a Dean Yang b-foot flute and the case is a very tight fit in the protec case, but it doesn't move around which is good because it bounced around in my other case. The outside pocket is big. It has enough room to hold my piccolo case, metronome and tuner, and a lot of other little cleaning things that I have. It is also very light and the strap makes for easy carrying. I love it and you will too.
