This case is very roomy for a Buffet case that comes with the R-13 or E-11. I have space to put my polishing cloth, reed holder (and a box of spare reeds), and a tuner/metronome inside where the horn's case is (it's a hassle to take all of that stuff out of the front pocket while you're trying to get method books out). It even has room for extra mouthpieces (make sure they're in a case to themselves and well protected!!!)After all of that is in there, there is still room to spare. The front pocket is very useful when it comes to method books. It has enough room to hold a Klose complete edition (293 pages), the All-State book, and one more book. Even with all of that, it isn't too heavy. It really helps being able to carry it on your shoulder rather than with your hand. Overall this is a great case!

I recently purchased this case to use with my Buffet R-13 clarinet hoping it would be more convenient and protect my case. When the case arrived it was not what I was expecting or hoping for. This case is not the right size to fit over a Buffet case. It is a very tight fit. The case is also quite bulky and awkward to carry. The one thing I really liked what the spacious exterior compartment but I ended up returning it. If you plan to use this over a Buffet case you might want to try something else.

I got this bag my freshmen year in high school. My mom bought it for my because my other case broke. I was very much impressed with this case. I loved the fact that I no longer had to worry that my case will fall open while I'm carrying it. It happened with my old one. Very sad. Now that there's a zipper there, it has as much room as I need in the front. I can carry my clarinet stand with me wherever I go. It fits my clarinet perfectly!! I loved it so much that when my grandpa's case broke several years later, I bought him one just like mine and he loved it too. I also got a lot of compliments on it, even people that don't play an instrument like it. There were two other people that had the same basic case when I got mine and I know at least one of them is still using it and he loves his as much as I love mine. Great bag, little pricey but it will last you forever.

This isn't what I expected. I feel and look too much like I'm carrying a lap top. The zipper pulls are huge. Everything about it is just bulky. I did like that there was a storage part in front for music and reeds and such. I also liked that you put the case containing your clarinet into this case.

I've gotten this carrying case last year for the holidays and I must say it's the best case I've ever used. I have four others. I am the envy of all the other clarinet students, except for the other two or three that own their own. It's a little expensive but trust me you'll never go back to carrying your case with your hands when you can carry it around your shoulder.
