How Pure and Clear

By Debra Lafferty

from Rincon, GA

Comments about Mitchell Lurie Bb Clarinet Reeds:

I use to play on the LaVoz reed until I tried the Mitchell Lurie reed. I was surprised at how easy the break in was and the clear pure sound that the Mitchell Lurie gave me. I feel that I will be switching reeds soon!

Great reeds

Comments about Mitchell Lurie Bb Clarinet Reeds:

Wonderful experience. Beautiful high tones. They do not last long but for that price you can replace them as needed.

Play easily

By David

from West Plains, MO

Comments about Mitchell Lurie Bb Clarinet Reeds:

I have always loved the ease of playing with Mitchell Lurie reeds. They don't last as long as do Vandoren v12's but they don't require nearly as much break in time and even though their life is shorter, they play beautifully. So you can choose between short and sweet and longer but harder to play, at least at first.

I can't use a better reed.

By Andrew-9BVbx

from Maryland

Comments about Mitchell Lurie Bb Clarinet Reeds:

When I started playing in my jazz ensemble, I played the Vandoren V12's. I played a size 4.5 and wasn't getting the full sound that I was hoping for. I then went to the local music store and decided to buy a box of every type of reed. I would test each box each session, but stuck with the V12's for performances. When it was all said and done, these reeds definetly came out on top. Now I only play sice 5 Mitchell Luries.
