This is it!!

Comments about Leblanc Model 7181 Contra-Alto Clarinet:

I started out with brasswinds about 19 years ago (as a 6th grader) and always had a fascination with woodwinds, mainly the Alto Saxophone. When I got to high school, my band director prepped me for college, as early as 9th grade, by acting upon my fascination. Well, it wasn't until I picked up a Vito Conta Alto Clarinet that I found my true niche. Once I graduated and went off to college, I kept playing the Trumpet in marching band, but, I, always played the Contra in symphonic band. When I graduated from undergrad, I purchased this Contra for grad school. And, I will have to say, this model rocks!!!! It especially projects on any composition by W.Francis McBeth. Now that I have completed my Masters', I still pull out the Vito Contra and have a blast. For anyone wanting an excellent contra at a nice price, this is the one for you!!!

Totally awesome!

Comments about Leblanc Model 7181 Contra-Alto Clarinet:

I am a tenor sax player originally but my band director wanted me to play bass clarinet. We had so many bass clarinets already so he showed me this lunky old case, with a contra-alto inside. I thought it was awesome, and I learned it. Although it was old and beat up it was still cool. Recently, they purchased this contra-alto, and I just began playing it. It sure is easier to play than my other one, by far. I love it. It is so easy to handle, and the sound is much better, and easier to produce. I love it, and I hope to purchase my own.

fantastic instrument

Comments about Leblanc Model 7181 Contra-Alto Clarinet:

I've just begun playing clarinet last year and I've passed straight through to the Contra Alto Clarinet. I've tried many other brands, makes, and styles, cheaper ones, and very expensive ones. When I purchased this brand, it was amazing. It was easy to play, I was able to execute a near perfect start, and and finish when playing music, I've never been able to do it with any other clarinet. This is, by far, one of the greatest instruments I've ever played.

Massive fun

Comments about Leblanc Model 7181 Contra-Alto Clarinet:

I swore that, as a trombonist, I would only play brasswinds. Well, my director gave me this lunk of an instrument, a fingering chart, and plenty of reeds, and now it gets as much play time as my bass trombone and tuba. The Vito Eb Contralto is just plain fun. If I, one previously with no woodwind experience, can now impress woodwind players with this instrument, any seasoned clarinet player could rule with it. The price is a bit hefty, though, but one of the better Contralto deals.

Comments about Leblanc Model 7181 Contra-Alto Clarinet:

I play the Contra Alto Clarinet in my Jr. High band. It is an awesome instrument that makes me just want to dance and laugh out loud when I play it. It is my main hobby, and I don't know what I would do without it.
