I have tried out alot of oboes in high school and BEYOND (dun dun dun). Some good, some not. Before I played the jupiter oboe I was pessimistic about it. But I was really surprised at the tone. Low and high register are great. Even though it doesn't have a f left F and resonance key I enjoyed it. The body is plastic meaning very durable. Not a bad price for a student oboe

I do not have the plastic student one, but Jupiter does a wonderful job making them. Go for Jupiter, they are worth your money!

It's a very standard instrument. Left hand F, Low b flat, and trill keys. The description doesn't say much, but its cheap and its a good oboe for my 7th grade band or high school!
