Pure Hollow Fibers in a Natural Cane Design
Harry Hartmann Natural Series Fiberreeds feature hollow fiber in a natural cane design. The synthetic fibers run the length of the reed in a pattern and strength very similar to that of traditional cane. The result is response, feel, and sound, extremely similar to that of a cane reed but with greatly increased durability and perfect consistency.
- Last 20-30 times longer than cane reeds
- Play immediately, no soaking or break-in period
- Extremely resistant to warping and splitting
- Perfectly consistent
- Never dry out
- Easy to clean, resulting in a hygienic and odorless reed even after months of play

Comments about Harry Hartmann Natural Fiberreed Tenor Saxophone Reed:
I have already gone through a few of the carbon fiber reeds for my tenor and found them to be just what I needed. This natural fiber reed may be OK, but not as good for me. First thing that occurred upon trying it out, it actually squealed, like cane reeds have done. Maybe that is a good sign that it is more like cane. All the other synthetic reeds I've used never squealed at all. The medium strength may simply be just too soft for me. Not saying it always squeals, it's just that I had to back off some. Still a fine product. I'll try a medium hard next time.
