The Original Fiberreed!

Harry Hartmann Fiberreeds are impervious to changes in temperature and humidity and, due to the manufacturing process, are 100% consistent from reed to reed. Included with the Harry Hartmann Fiberreed is a medium hard rubber support that enables the reed to vibrate more freely. The Harry Hartmann fiberreeds are the only reed available that will let you customize your sound. By purchasing the Addjust Vary Support (sold separately) you can change the support and darken or brighten the tone. These are truly a revolutionary concept in reed design.

Love this reed!

Comments about Harry Hartmann Fiberreed Alto Saxophone Reed:

I play in a band where most of our performances are outside all year long, so change in temperature and environment can be of a hindrance. Im always looking for a better solution to improve my performance. So far, Ive been using a Claude Lakey mouthpiece with an Ultimate Ligature by Francoise Louis and a variety of reeds. I started using Kleer Kanes until Rovner discontinued them a few years ago. Then I switched to Legere Studio Cuts, which were the closest thing to a Kleer Kane, but without the slight arc. Now, ever since I've come across the Harry Hartman Fiberreed, this is all I use. It's great to play right out of the box and with clarity yet. No need to warm it up before practice or a performance. Great for producing quality intonation! Lasts way longer than a normal box of cane reeds.
