Love this reed!
Comments about Harry Hartmann Fiberreed Alto Saxophone Reed:
I play in a band where most of our performances are outside all year long, so change in temperature and environment can be of a hindrance. Im always looking for a better solution to improve my performance. So far, Ive been using a Claude Lakey mouthpiece with an Ultimate Ligature by Francoise Louis and a variety of reeds. I started using Kleer Kanes until Rovner discontinued them a few years ago. Then I switched to Legere Studio Cuts, which were the closest thing to a Kleer Kane, but without the slight arc. Now, ever since I've come across the Harry Hartman Fiberreed, this is all I use. It's great to play right out of the box and with clarity yet. No need to warm it up before practice or a performance. Great for producing quality intonation! Lasts way longer than a normal box of cane reeds.
