Very good ligature, a fantastic product that really allows great resonation for the reed. I use a DC Pro soprano sax and got good results from this Francois Louis ligature on it, in combination with size 3 Vandoren Java Red reeds. The smart cap is a very nice and useful touch as well.
The only issue i really encountered is that this is somewhat of a jazz ligature, and I use a classical mouthpiece for soprano sax made by the the company Caravan. The ligature is almost too small for the mouthpiece; that is, with the reed on it almost doesn't fit over the mouthpiece. But it does make it, if only barely, and I get a great sound out nonetheless. For most mouthpieces this would not be an issue, as I have tried the ligature on other mouthpieces and there have been no problems. Great job Francois!

I put this ligature on an old link and it was a big improvement over the link stock ligature. They claim that it creates a "range of sympathetic vibrations" and I would agree. The mouthpiece seemed to vibrate more in my mouth and the piece felt a litte more free blowing. I would say its worth the money if ur looking for a great ligature.

I had bought a metal otto link mouthpiece, but when i got it, I noticed the ligature was really not that great. Took me a while to find this, when i got it it fit perfectly, and not only that it played amazing. It projected so much but and really gave it a nice open sound. This is the mosst amazing ligature.
