This oboe is amazing! I got this oboe when I was in 7th grade and I'm now in 9th grade. When you play this oboe it comes out with a great tone and sound! Truthfully if anyone you know is a good oboe player and is looking for a little bit more advanced oboe from their starter oboe this would be a good oboe to get!

I have used the Fox line of oboes and bassoon and have suggested their purchase for many schools. The composite materials are not affected by the weather (damp here in Galveston, dry in New Mexico where I used to teach). The response is wonderful and the resonance of the instruments make them a joy to play. I highly recommend them for middle school and high school students and ensembles.

Wow! My parents just bought me this Fox 300 model for my birthday and it's great! It comes with everything you need to get started for beginners, and is perfect for aspiring oboists who want to be come professionals like me. It has beautiful tone quality on all different variety of reeds, and holding it is very comfortable for your fingers to get used to! Definitely a good buy!

Wow! This oboe is amazing! I got it for my birthday and it is absolutely beautiful compared to my old school-owned instrument! It plays with an even, deep tone, and it comes complete with everything an aspiring oboist needs. This is especially good for more advanced younger players aspiring to be professionals. It's not wood so you don't have to worry about cracks and humidifiers, but it has all the advanced double reed technology of a wooden one! Definitely a good buy!
