We bought this as a gift for my 12 year old son. There were no pictures and no instructions included with the box. We had to go online to figure out how to put this together. Otherwise, it's a decent stand, although it would be nice if it were padded.

I ordered the Alto sax stand for my daughter who lives in another city. When she got it, it had no instructions, no picture. She had no idea what to do with it. It didn't look like it could hold up a sax. I had to give her the web address so she could research it. Some gift. I am disappointed that you would send something out without proper paper work. If the box didn't say what it was, there would be no way to know by looking at it.

i was pleased to find that this Belmonte stand was so robust. the two pegs screw on easily, and since the base legs snap into place and make the stand sit about 1 1/2 inches off the ground, it seems like it can hold a lot of weight. we'll find out soon enough! It's constructed differently than the Hercules stands, which I'm used to, but I like the old school design of this one well enough. ill be taking it on the road pretty soon, and i know it will fold up and fit nicely with my other gear. The only downside I can see at this point is that the pegs are not padded with foam. the two yokes for the sax are, but not the pegs. probably doesnt matter much.
