The Amati ACL-201 Student Clarinet is in the key of Bb. 17 nickel-plated keys, .574" bore, 6 rings, and rugged plastic construction. This is ideal for the beginning clarinet student. The Amati clarinet is precision-molded in ABS resins. The body is hand-finished. Keys are laid out with the student's hand size as the primary consideration. Pressure-fitted bell rings produce a powerful, easy-playing clarinet. High-quality springs and pads combined with good intonation allow young players to progress rapidly. The Amati ACL-201 comes with case, mouthpiece, cleaning swab, metal cap, and ligature.

I highly recommend this instrument. The clarinet looks good, sounds great, is a pleasure to play. I bought the plastic version, it looks like wood, the craftsmanship is unbelievable for the price. I play in a church orchestra and the other musicians complemented me on the sound of this clarinet. A great value, it comes with a quality case, reed, cork grease, and cleaning tool. I am very pleased with the clarinet and the service of Music123.

I found this site accidentally, when I had to find a clarinet for my son (he is an advance band player in his middle school), and to replace a rented one ASAP. I bought the "all wood" version (ACL311). At the beginning, I was quite skeptical , because the price was so ridiculously low. I just did not believe, that any decent instrument can have such a low price. For instance, just for the replacement pads on my previously rented clarinet I paid well over $200.00!!! And here the whole brand new instrument is only $399.00! When my clarinet arrived, I was really impressed with quality of craftsmanship. Even a carrying case is a "work of art" by itself! These cases alone run over $100.00 This clarinet produces a beautiful, steady sound, and is very easy to play. My son and I just felt in love with it. Before, we rented Montblanc clarinet, which is considered one of the best in the industry. To my opinion, this Amati produces the best sound when it is used with 1.5 reeds (Michael Lurie brand). I highly recommend this instrument to anyone, from the beginner to advance band player, or for amateur player, as it is done with an exceptional quality of craftsmanship, is easy to play, and, I believe, is the very best you can get for a very, very, very reasonable price.
